Terms of Service & Process
By commissioning me, you acknowledge that you are over the age of 18 and have read and accept the information outlined in this document. Failure to comply with these statements will result in cancellation of your commission.Any questions or concerns should be discussed with me prior to formalizing any commission details.
Contact and Ordering Guidelines
Contact can be handled within any of the social media sites listed on my home page, or via Discord (which can be provided after initial contact). Unless otherwise stated, all discussion should be focused solely on business. While considerate, this is a work environment for me. Please respect this.When initially contacting me, please keep messages direct and to the point. This includes if you aren't sure what you're looking for, as I can certainly help you hammer out ideas and figure out what will work best for you. If you have a preference of specific forms, the following information will help me greatly in gauging the type of work you may like best:
Main Characters
Setting (Fantasy, Modern, Sci-Fi, etc)
Genre
Is it based on a piece of art?
Is it based on a piece of music?
Do you have examples of similar media that inspired your idea?
The overall idea that you have
Your total budget
Any deadlines
Not all of these are required, but telling me as much as you can creates a good baseline for us to discuss and workshop.Please keep in mind, there are certain themes and content that I will not write. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Once we have settled on an idea, I will create an outline and pricing estimate. This will include both an idea of how the story will be segmented, as well as an idea of word counts and a final estimated word count. If this is acceptable to the client, then we will move on to payment.
Payment Guidelines
No payment should be made prior to us finalizing an outline. Any money received prior to that will be taken as a donation.Once an outline has been accepted, payment will be required. Please bear in mind, prices listed on my site are largely averages based on prior work, and are heavily dependent on a variety of factors, including your budget. Please feel free to lead with the amount you are comfortable paying, and I will see what I can do.All payment will be handled via PayPal in USD. Exceptions may be considered on a case by case basis.For any estimates over $100 USD, half of the estimate will be due up front. The remainder will be required once the final draft has been completed. For all other amounts, the full amount will be due once an outline is provided.Refunds can be requested at any time during the process, although an amount of $0.12 per word will be deducted, based on the most recent work in progress provided. If requested prior to any progress being shared, a full refund will be provided. Cancellations on my part will also be refunded in full.
Timelines and Turnaround Time
It is important to understand that I am someone with a full-time job and home responsibilities. My turnaround time can be anywhere between 2–6 months, depending on a variety of factors. Regardless, I aim to provide work as quickly as possible. If there are any major delays, or something is preventing me from working, I will be forward and honest with you.You are welcome to request status updates at any time, and I generally try to provide updates as soon as notable work has been completed.If you have a specific deadline in mind, please tell me when inquiring about the commission initially. Very tight or harsh deadlines may incur additional fees, or be declined outright.
Revisions and Corrections
I will always correct misspellings, grammatical errors, and formatting errors for free and without question. If at any time something slips past me, never hesitate to let me know!For larger changes to the overall story, such as rewriting scenes or paragraphs, I’m generally more than happy to adjust things to meet your wishes. If something requires me to rewrite an entire section, additional payment may be requested at a rate of $0.12 per word of the already written portions that will be removed. This will be added to the invoice, and be due at the time of the final payment.Once a piece is finished, I will only make adjustments to spelling or grammatical errors on my part. Any adjustments that require further editing or rewriting once the final piece is accepted will incur additional fees as listed above up front.
Copyright and Usage Policy
As the author, I reserve the rights to the following subjects:
The commissioned work itself.
The ability to post the work on my social media sites and galleries, unless discussed otherwise.
Commercial and Publishing rights of the work (These will not be used in any way without the client’s written consent).
As the client, you reserve the rights to the following subjects:
Any characters that are rightfully your own intellectual property. This extends to any characters and their original owners.
Personal use of the work, including editing, reposting, sharing, or otherwise distributing the work without the intent of commercializing the piece. Credit to my website and/or social media is required, along with the original work, if edited.
Commercial and Publishing rights with attribution can be purchased from me at a rate of +200% of the original price. Unattributed rights can be purchased at a rate of +300% instead.
Any usage of my work for the purposes of training AI or LLM models is strictly prohibited. This prohibition supersedes any of the above rights of the client. The author will also never use AI or LLM models in the creation of the work, or otherwise use the work for these purposes.
Pricing
Here is a basic outline of my pricing for various sizes of work. Please bear in mind, I am always willing to work with your budget, so feel free to let me know of any specifics when reaching out!Examples can be found in either library section.
Vignette ($50)
~500 Words
These pieces are short, simple, and convey a specific portion of a scene or event. They're great for giving artwork a bit more context, or just as a fun exercise of character development or study.
Level 1 Story ($125)
1000–1250 Words
These pieces are a little longer, and can usually encompass a full scene in a quick, concise manner. They function well as a stand-alone piece, or to accompany art.
Level 2 Story ($225)
1250–2250 Words
These pieces are a good length, encompassing a full scene with detail, or multiple small, quick scenes. These are great as stand-alone pieces.
Level 3 Story ($350)
2250–3500 Words
These pieces can be much longer, allowing more details, events, scene changes, etc. These are best as stand-alone pieces, or parts of a larger work. Multiple images can be described with these.
Level ? Story ($500+)
3500+ Words
This is mostly a placeholder to inform you that I can write pieces over 3500 words. In these cases, pricing is handled as work is done, and can be adjusted to suit the customer's budget and needs.
